School Council

The school council at Broughton Moor Primary School work to make improvements in the school, the local community and the wider world.  It provides children within our school the opportunity to put forward their own ideas and opinions via our school councillors. Each year, we run an election campaign to vote in our new councillors.  All children from Years 1 – 6 can apply and two children from each class that receive the most votes will become our School Councillors.  The council will then meet monthly and is led by Miss Landells and Miss Houghton.

This year, we have created a new pupil questionnaire for all the children in the school to complete.  The aim is to discover what the most important values and improvements are to the children in our school.  We have then created an action plan outlining the 3 most important areas and how we will achieve them.  Please find our action plan for 2024/25 below.
